Reason

There must be a reason to anything. 

• There is a reason as to why you are reading this today. It could be as simple as 'I am curious'.
• There is a reason as to why you are smiling.  It could be as simple as 'This is interesting..'
• There is a reason to life. It could only be 'To worship Allah, the Lord of the World'.

 

 There are differences between a mere reason and a solid, poweful reason.

What kind of reason, do you think, is able to make one goes beyond their limits?

What kind of reason, do you think, is able to make one does not feel the pain despite wounded?

A firefighter doesn't just go against the blazing fire without any reason.

A nation flag bearer doesn' just willingly be a decade long years away from home to carry the honor of the nation without any reason.

 

They all have their reasons and it is a solid, a powerful one. 

 

Here comes the next questions

Do I have my reason?   

How long will the reason, keep my feet stand still, rooted to the ground? 

How long will the reason, keep me moving forward despite the obstacles ahead?

Isn't this cute? - I am kinda a little distracted by the candle back there. I hope nothing catches fire during this conversation. I love firefighter, but I don't want to meet them during their working time.

Why do I want to be a Korean Languge Teacher?

Foreign Language has always been my passion. 

Specifically, Korean language is considered  a foreign language that begins to bloom in Malaysia years ago. Being a part of the pioner group of educators to empower the usage of this language in Malaysians is an honour.

Teacher, has always been individuals with the power to change the future generations. The scope job of a teacher has always been way beyond sharing knowledge. 

What a teacher carries, is great responsibility of nurturing future generations. As someone, who would love to see a positive development of the country, I believe that by becoming a teacher, I would be able to contribute, be it a little or to a greater extend, in nurturing and shaping the youth, into responsible, strong, positive, holistic Malaysians with empathy, manners and good morality.

Will these reasons, be enough? Do I, with these reasons, able to not just stand but moving towards? - Just like how the firefighters are, when they faced the fire?

What are the challenges? 

At the moment.

To be able to teach a knowlege, one must be filled with the knowledge. 

To nurture all the great and goodness in others, one must be able to nurture and practice all the great and goodness within themselves. To be able to reach this state, the biggest challenge is distractions. The biggest enemy is, my very own self. 

Later on.

What lies in the future ahead remain unknown. Challenges would definitely appear alongside the system and people. What we have no control over, worry not. But be ready of thousands possibilities and prepare yourself dedicatedly, dear future teachers.

How teaching Korean Language Teacher could help me as a person, a teacher, a Malaysian citizen and as a Muslim?

As a person. 

A teacher too, one must be at their very best condition, mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally in order to portray a good living examples to the students. Indirectly, becoming a teacher is not merely for income stability but also for self- improvement in all aspects. Self-empowerment would indirectly gives a teacher the strength to inspire. 

A korean teacher would have to learn on embracing the beauty of more than just one culture. The depth understanding on the Korean culture would eventually made Korean language Malaysian teacher understood the beauty of our very own cultutre and is responsible in bringing the youngsters towards that same realization.

As a teacher.

Being a Korean Language teacher, the ability of me in understanding the language would have me easily access to the South Korea education-related information, ideas, systems, and their discoveries. Any great ideas that could help in enhancing the education of students in Malaysia can be take into discussion and consideration. The implementation may not only restrict to the Korean language subject itself, but also in the ither subjects as well. A foreign language teacher could also do as much as the other core subjects teachers do.  

As a Malaysian Citizen. 

Korea is a highly developed mixed economy. By nominal GDP, it is a is the 4th largest economy in Asia and 10th in the world. South Korea has rapic economic development and is one of the most robustly high-techdriven economies. Innovation and technology are the key factors to the country's remarkable economic rise over the past decades. 

There are more. But, just by these few lines of facts, it should be agreed upon that there are vast things that we could learn from South Korea. Indeed it is that possible for us to access the information with English translation but to what extend, at what speed do we are able to obtain those information and knowledge? Any great ideas can be extracted and shared to improve our very own country Malaysia. 

As a Muslim.

Being a Korean language teacher, encouraging more students to learn Korean language. Teaching more students to speak Korean would mean, increasing the ability of more Malaysians especially Muslims in communicating in Korean language. In this borderless world at the fingertips, friendship between these two countries could be formed anywhere in any form such as businesses, study trips, international relationships, friendship or even marriage. 

The ability to communicate in Korea would be able to help Malaysians, to at least, able to answer questions regarding Islam, when asked. It is also possible in situation where the Koreans wanted to know about Islam. As korean-learning Muslim, being able to explain, articulately about our religion is essential. Being able to portray ourselves to Korean as a respected Korean-speaking muslim speaker is equally critical.

Have I collected enough reasons?

Somehow.

At the end of the day, 

Despite all the reasons I have listed, 

None felt as powerful as the reason, 'Because of Allah...'

 

How do I even relate, Worshipping Allah and a Korean Language Teacher?

 

But strange.
Even if I don't.
Even if I could not find the reasonable relation
At the end of the day.
I don't need extra reading, statistics or complicated reasonings 
If it is 'Because of Allah..."
If anything in life is just,  
'Because of Allah..." 
It does make me feel like I had the strongest, solid, powerful reason to keep going.
